M&E Coordinator
Carmen joined IYF’s Mexico Office in October 2025 as M&E Coordinator, bringing her experience in international relations, women's rights, migrant protection, inclusion of people with disabilities, sustainability, public policy, and social development. Has a deep passion for human rights and has contributed to research and articles on gender equality, socio-political challenges, and climate change, collaborating with organizations such as Paradiplomacia.org and Ethos Think Tank to support initiatives that promote equity, inclusion, and sustainability in Mexico and Latin America. From a young age, she has been curious about how societies work and how government and community decisions affect people's lives and joining IYF further strengthens her commitment to social justice.
With a degree in International Relations from the Universidad Anáhuac in Querétaro, and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, a coastal city in Mexico that has always been an important part of her identity.
