Eunice Hernandez Sanchez

Eunice began her work with the International Youth Foundation as an external consultant in October 2022, serving as JuventudES Promoter and leading the implementation of strategies within partner institutions to strengthen youth development. With a humanistic and results-oriented approach, she has designed and implemented programs that foster participant retention and engagement, supervised the Passport to Success program across multiple sites, and provided personalized support in youth development workshops.

With more than nine years of professional experience, Eunice has worked in peace promotion, vocational guidance, and the socio-emotional development of young people, consistently maintaining a strong commitment to inclusion, empathy, and cross-sector collaboration. Her career includes roles as Program Promoter and Youth Counselor, as well as human resources management in the private sector, where she coordinated recruitment, training, and organizational development processes.

Since 2014, she has also volunteered as a psychologist, therapist, and workshop facilitator with the Asociación de Profesionistas y Empresarios de México, providing psychological support to individuals in vulnerable situations in both rural and urban areas, delivering training in life planning and personal development, and offering vocational guidance to encourage educational advancement. She has also contributed to social communication campaigns by producing audiovisual and audio content.

Eunice holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from Colegio Universitario del Valle de México and specialized in Thanatology (Gestalt Approach) at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. She is known for her strengths in communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork, and is committed to advancing youth skills, opportunities, and well-being for lasting social impact.
